WHAT'S IN MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP BAG? MY GO TO PRODUCTS

April 11, 2018

KAT VON D LOCK IT FOUNDATION - £27
This has been my go to everyday foundation for about two years now and I have repurchased it so many times. I do like a full coverage foundation and this definitely ticks all the boxes for me. You also get quite a lot of product and I feel like it last a decent amount of time. The wear on it is also amazing, I could wear this all day and still be looking flawless when going to bed. I apply it with a beauty blender to bounce it into the skin but it applies well with a brush as well.

LA GIRL PRO CONCEAL - £5
This concealer is the best and most full coverage I have tried so far, I use the shade 'highlight' which is basically a white concealer under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose and on my forehead, to highlight. It blends into the skin like a dream with a beauty blender, and a little bit goes a long way due to how thick the formula is. You can pick these up from BTY in Belfast.

LAURA MERCIER TRANSLUCENT LOOSE SETTING POWDER  - £29
Once I've applied my base makeup I like to set the highlighted areas with a loose setting powder and my favourite is the Laura Mercier powder, I have tried quite a few loose powders but I always come back to this one, it's very finely milled and gives your face an airbrushed looked. I really want to try the Airspun powder as well, as I've heard great things about it.

KAT VON D SHADE AND LIGHT PALETTE - £37
I know another Kat Von D product, I swear this isn't sponsored by Kat Von D I just love her products and it is genuinely the brand I would reach for the most. I adore this palette and is what I always use for my contour. I use the first shade for my cheekbones and then the middle shade to bronze up my forehead and sometimes just mix them together. It is perfect for my skintone, not too dark or light. The first shade has the perfect amount of cool tones without being too ashy on the skin.

THE BALM MARY LOU MANIZER HIGHLIGHTER - £16
I have had this highlighter in my collection for so long and it's just not going anywhere, its my absolute favourite for everyday use. I use the Morphe M510 to apply this to the high points of my cheeks and I think it gives a natural dewy finish to any makeup look.

MAKEUP FOREVER CAMOUFLAGE CREAM PALETTE (SHADE 4)
This is a bit of a strange one and I got this makeup forever palette originally to use as a cream contour palette. However I use the darkest shade to fill in my eyebrows on an angled brush and I absolutely love it. It's so much creamier and easier to work with than a lot of brow pomades I've used. So if you are looking for a good brow product try using a contour shade.

URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION - £17.50
Whenever I go to apply my eyeshadow I first apply the Urban Decay Primer Potion to my lids, this stuff is the bomb. It keeps your eyeshadow in place all day and doesn't crease, I would definitely recommend it.

MORPHE 25A COPPER SPICE PALETTE - £19
I won't go into too much detail on this palette, as I have a whole blog post dedicated to it, but this is my holygrail eyeshadow palette. There is such a good range of colours and I can use it for an everyday look or use some of the darker shades to create a night time look. I think it is such a steal for the price as well.

BENEFIT BAD GAL BANG MASCARA - £21.50
Since this mascara has came out it's been a staple item in my makeup bag, it gives the perfect mix of length and volume at the same time and always looks perfect to finish off an eye look. It's my go to mascara for everyday and it stays on for hours, I mean hours.
