3 WAYS TO WEAR: YELLOW

June 13, 2018

So this post is gonna be going up very late because I've had such a busy day, but here it is. 3 Ways to Wear Wednesday this week is 3 Ways to Wear Yellow. Yellow is 100% my favourite colour for this season and I have been finding it in tons of stores. I think my next purchase might have to be a yellow suit or co-ord.

DAYTIME FLORALS

I am loving florals at the minute for summer, this little playsuit was an absolute bargain from Primark and was only £6, I have worn it so many times since then. I usually just jazz it up a bit with a belt and accessories. I think a playsuit or a dress is perfect for a daytime look but can also be dressed up for night time.

PATTERN CLASHING

A trend I have been loving this season is pattern clashing and I love to add a pop of colour to that. For this look I decided to wear an all yellow outfit and then add a pop of yellow with contrasting stripes. The stripes are nearly identical. to the ones on these Stradivarius trousers except they are horizontal so I thought it was the perfect combo.

DRESSED UP

This yellow pleated skirt is definitely a summer staple in my wardrobe, its also from Primark. I swear this post isn't sponsored by Primark I've just been finding loads of cute stuff in there recently. I wore this look to an event recently and got so many compliments on it. I paired it with simple white accessories and was good to go. I think a skirt like this speaks for itself and you can wear very simple pieces with it and still look amazing.

Thank you for reading

  1. I absolutely love primark! You can definitely find some bargains and some nice staple pieces in there! I love their playsuits! I bought a bunch for holidays last year and finally got them out and about in the last couple of weeks with the sun. I adored that yellow pleated skirt on you at the Lusso Tan event <3

Yellow is such a happy colour, I don't have enough yellow in my wardrobe but will have to change that soon! :)
