Happy National Donut Day! It's no secret that I love a good Donut, so today I thought I would do a round up of my favourite Donut spots in Belfast. So you can all go and get yourself some donuts.

Oh! Donuts is my local donut shop, literally it's dangerously close to me. After only opening in December the shop has already gained a large following on Instagram with their mouth watering donut snaps. Some popular choices are the maple and bacon donut, the pistachio and of course vegan donuts. Vegans rejoice you can have your donut day too. They also release seasonal donuts for limited times only. Like the one in this picture which is their signature golden egg donut. This place is not to be missed.

Tim Hortons is Belfasts newest addition to the donut scene, it's only been open for one week and it's already making it onto my Top 5 Donut list. Tim Hortons offer a range of traditional ring donuts available to buy individually or in a box. But my favourite thing is the 'Timbits' which are basically little mini donut balls. They come individually or in multipacks of 10, 20 or 50. I would recommend getting the multipack as it allows you to try all the delicious flavours my personal favourites are; chocolate glazed and birthday cake.

Doughzy Donuts just behind Castle Court, are famous for their signature puddle donuts which are basically donuts with a puddle of nutella or caramel in the middle. I would recommend getting a box of 4 because these won't last long, my family love them too. My personal favourites are the salted caramel and the caramel and nutella. I have a very sweet tooth.

Guilt Trip is the trendest donut place in East Belfast, situated just off the Upper Newtownards Road, it's just a stones throw from Belfast. The place has a cool urban hipster type and its definitely worth a visit. I opted for a coffee and chocolate flavoured donut. The coffee is also amazing.

The true underdog of the donut game in my opinion. Greggs is not to be reckoned with, their custard filled donuts have been a personal fave of mine for a while now. The one pictured above is the Caramel Cookie Filled Donut which tastes exactly like Lotus biscuits and is pretty amazing. These Donuts are also super cheap and you can get a box of 4 for only £3.

Thank you for reading
