HOW I'M WEARING SS19 TRENDS

February 17, 2019

Even though it is still freezing cold in Northern Ireland, Spring is definitely on it's way. So I've put together 4 outfits which I think represent the biggest trends this season. I collaborated with a SnapShotView on these photographs and she was amazing to work with and I love the final shots.

1. NEON

If you haven't heard that neon is going to be on trend for this season then where have you been. Neon is appearing in shops everywhere and at first I was a little reluctant to jump on this trend, but adding a pop of neon to your outfit can look great if you don't want to go full neon. I'm especially loving neon and animal print mixed which is what I've opted for in this outfit. Animal print is also still a huge trend this season and won't be going anywhere, snake print is my personal fave and I love the bodysuit I wore in this look.

Bodysuit - Boohoo
Dress - Boux Avenue

2. BOILERSUITS

This is my favourite trend at the minute, boiler suits have been everywhere and I have to say I love them. I love any sort of utility inspired fashion and boilersuits are the easiest thing to wear you can literally throw them on and you have an entire look. I absolutely love the rust colour of this one that I picked out and the contrast stitching makes it look more expensive.

Boilersuit - Missguided
Belt - New Look
Trainers - River Island

3. CYCLING SHORTS

Cycling Shorts were a big trend last summer with Kim K and Yeezy making them popular and they aren't set to go anywhere. Honestly I'm not sure whether they really suit me but I'm trying to work them as best I can. I'm personally loving wearing blazers at the minute whether they are belted or as part of a suit so I opted to pair these cycling shorts with a black blazer and heels for more of a high fashion look, not something I would wear everyday. I think sunglasses are also the perfect accessory for a look like this.

Blazer - Primark
Bandeau - Bershka
Cycling Shorts - Boohoo
Heels - New Look

4. BEIGE

This is a great trend for transitioning into spring from winter and something I've been wearing loads at the minute and it's all beige and brown tones. This is a super easy trend that anyone can wear, simply pair some brown and cream neutrals together and you are on your way. You can really dress this trend up or wear it casually like I've done in the picture below.

Trousers - Boohoo
Jumper - Primark
Coat - Primark
Trainers - River Island.
